OUR HISTORY

     Steve Ball founded Ball Supply Company in the spring of 1954.  It was at that time primarily a plumbing, heating, and refrigeration (HVAC) supply house and serviced the contractors in those primary markets.  There was very little startup capital and hence very little inventory to launch the business but the business thrived because of the technical expertise and superior service that Mr. Ball delivered to the customer.
     As industrial manufacturing and processing plants began to spring up in Southwest Missouri, Ball Supply's focus began to change from the HVAC market to industrial MROP products and the customers that used them.  Ball Supply was the original industrial MROP supply house in Southwest Missouri providing such lines as Cleveland Twist Drill, Carborundum Abrasives, Milwaukee Electric Power Tools, Sioux Air Tools, and Starrett Precision Tools.  Ball Supply was the training ground for employees who eventually started there own industrial and HVAC Supply houses which still service Springfield and Southwest Missouri to this day.
      Today the tradition continues.  We now have a branch operation in Pittsburg, Kansas which serves Southeast Kansas and some accounts in Southwest Missouri.  Our headquarters in Springfield, Missouri now penetrates into Northwest Arkansas.  We are totally committed to serve the industrial MROP customer and we look everyday to find new technologies, new products, new ways to serve them better.  We strive to be problem solvers,  people who genuinely care about the customer and what products and processes will make that business more productive, more profitable so they can successfully attain their goals.
